Emma dramatizes the life of Emma Goldman, the famed anarchist, feminist, and free-spirited thinker who was exiled from the United States because of her outspoken views, including her opposition to World War I.
Voices of a People’s History of the United States, The New School for Public Engagement, and Seven Stories Press, in association with Haymarket Books, present a special evening of music and readings to celebrate the tenth-anniversary edition of Voices of a People’s History of the United States.

The evening will feature special guests bringing to life voices – famous and forgotten – from the many movements for civil rights throughout U.S. history.
The People Speak is a unique celebration of British history. Through live performances and readings, The People Speak will highlight significant moments in our history where people have spoken out for change. Taking part in the event are some of the U.K.’s leading actors and musicians.
