“The Time of Our Lies” will be performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe through August 25. It portrays the story of U.S. historian, educator and activist Howard Zinn as a young bombardier in World War II. Choreographed through song and rap, the play cautions against the politics of U.S. history and challenges the dominant narrative. The play was written by Bianca Bagatourian, directed by Josh Chambers, and produced by Viggo Mortensen.
