On Nov. 10, 1998, Howard Zinn talked about his best-selling book A People’s History of the United States, 1492-present and his revisions to his new edition. He discussed how he decided to become a historian and his goals in writing about the American past and how it illuminates the present. He explained his approach to history and after his remarks he answered questions from the audience. Introduction by Jim Miller, co-owner of the Fire and Ice Restaurant where the event was held.
