HowardZinn.org is coordinating a booth to feature groups under the banner of “People’s History in the Digital Age” (PHDA) at the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) conference, Nov. 19–22, 2026, in Philadelphia. This booth featured digital collections of the voices and histories missing from mainstream history.
Building on the success of a booth at the National Council for the Social Studies in 2025, the PHDA booth will be located next door to the Zinn Education Project exhibit, this space will be a hub for gathering, connecting, and learning about the various projects working to bring histories to digital life.
Computer stations allow visitors to view online digital collections of photos and documents, and to learn about available classroom resources, including K–12 lessons and digital exhibits.
Also on display will be a large-scale pop-up photo exhibition featuring a variety of people’s history projects across the country.
Stay tuned for details of participating groups.
