The Howard Zinn Book Fair returns on December 7, 2025, to the City College of San Francisco Mission Campus. Organizers state the book fair “is an annual celebration of The People’s History — past, present, and future. We bring together left authors, readers, organizers, and community members to debate and discuss strategies for a better world.”
This year’s theme is “Fight Supremacy: Actions Against Authoritarianism.” The organizers state,
Fight Supremacy looks to the past for insight into how we can effectively organize today. We draw inspiration from abolitionists, Indigenous resistance movements, organized labor, the Civil Rights, Women’s Rights, and LGBTQ+ Rights Movements, Occupy Wall Street, and the countless groups and individuals who continue to take to the streets in defiance of autocracy.
